Bronx River Parkway Crash: Police Search for Two Suspects Who Fled the Scene

On Friday morning, two men were hospitalized following a collision on Bronx River Parkway and two suspects who have since fled from the scene of this collision were missing. Westchester County Police Department are asking the public for help in locating these two individuals who fled from the scene of this collision.

What happened?

Police believe the crash took place around 7 a.m. on the northbound lane of Bronx River Parkway just north of Cross County Parkway. An Acura MDX driven by two individuals — including a male driver accompanied by two women — sideswiped a car before rear-ending a Ram 1500 pickup truck.

This caused it to veer off the road, roll over, and crash into a tree. Two individuals in this pickup truck experienced serious injuries from this impact and were transported by ambulance to Westchester Medical Center Valhalla. Their conditions remain unknown at this time.

Who are the suspects?

Both drivers of an Acura that were not wearing seat belts escaped and fled on foot from the scene on MacQuesten Parkway in Mount Vernon. Police described both suspects as black individuals in their 20s or 30s who may have experienced injuries as a result of the collision, with surveillance cameras and license plate readers also checking for clues.
