“Blood for the Blood God”, sometimes follows by “Skulls for the Skull Throne,” is a war cry that connects with the Chaos Space Marines disagreement within an organization in Warhammer 40 thousand. Online, the phrase frequently appears in macro image captions. It has inspired many variations using the phrasal template “X for the X God.”

Origin of Blood for the blood god

A common battle cry amongst the Chaos Space Marines faction of the game. The disagreement within an organization worships one of the Four Gods of Chaos is called Khorne.
