Chris Married At first sight: According to her husband Chris, Alyssa from Married at First Sight Season 14 was checked out of her marriage as soon as it formally began. On Feb. 9, he appeared as a guest on the show’s Afterparty, where he discussed the early stages of his relationship with Alyssa.

Chris and his colleague season 14 participant Lindsey were guests on the Married at First Sight Afterparty. In the most recent episode of the Lifetime reality series, they recounted some very unpleasant moments, including a tense couple’s meal, as well as other things that weren’t captured on camera.

Chris also discussed Alyssa’s actions following their wedding with host Keshia Knight Pulliam. He recalled that Alyssa was already hostile when the two went to city hall to sign their marriage license. She initially refused to give him her phone number. After that, the officiant inquired if they wanted to marry.

Chris revealed, “I said yes.” “She sat still. She remained silent. She’d already signed the documents… “However, [the officiant] insisted on hearing the ‘I do,’ and she refused to utter it.”

Is there going to be another big reveal? While they were at city hall, Alyssa was on the phone with her lawyer. Lindsey confirmed that she overheard the other woman speak to an attorney on the phone.

“She’s talking to her lawyers, won’t give me her phone number, won’t sit next to me on the plane, so she places a producer between us, so we don’t have to sit next to each other,” Chris explained. “Keep in mind that we’ve only been together for 45 minutes to an hour.”

Chris reacts to Alyssa’s declaration that she despises him.

Pulliam also presented a clip from Married at First Sight’s Feb. 9 episode, in which Alyssa had a no-holds-barred conversation with the show’s producers. She’d skirted around her love for her husband during their one-on-one chats, but when he wasn’t present, she didn’t hold back.

“I despise him,” she declared. “He’s a f***ing jerk.” He’s impolite and inconsiderate, and he’s mistreating me.” Alyssa also stated that she had been “nothing but friendly” to Chris, that she was a “decent person,” and that she would be “f***ing p*****” if she didn’t come across as such on the show.

During the Afterparty, Chris saw the tape for the first time. Pulliam inquired as to how he felt about it.

He stated, “That’s just a horrible way to say about someone.” “To talk like that about someone and acknowledge that you are very, very polite to that person while talking about it is acknowledging that you are acting in two different ways.”

Will Chris ask for a divorce in the upcoming episode of ‘Married at First Sight’?

The not-so-sweet honeymoon of Chris and Alyssa has come to an end. The mismatched couple is at a fork in the road as the other couples prepare to return to Boston and live together for the first time. They must decide whether to continue living together in their shared apartment or separate.

Chris has stated that he would be willing to share an apartment with Alyssa. However, she has said that she is not comfortable sharing a living space with him. Instead, she wants them to split their time in their apartment, with each staying for several weeks on their own. Chris was uninterested in the compromise. It didn’t seem to fly with the makers of Married at First Sight, either.

“At the end of the day, it’s a marriage show.” One remarked, “It’s called Married at First Sight, not Single at First Sight.” “If you’re not in a relationship, you’re out.”

In the meantime, Chris had a video call with his sister, who advised him to “limit your losses.”

Chris and Alyssa haven’t explicitly stated that they’ve given up on their marriage yet. Chris appears to be at the end of his rope in a trailer for the Feb. 16 episode.

He claims, “She has no interest in marrying me.”

Chris is asked whether he wants a divorce by Pastor Cal Roberson. Although the preview doesn’t reveal his response, it appears as he and Alyssa’s brief relationship ended.

They have married at First Sight Season 14, breaths of air new episodes every Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET on Lifetime.
