Who is Daniel Cracknell?
From 2015 to 2020, Dan was a Prince Henry’s student. After graduating from high school, Dan was offered an apprenticeship in the Williams Formula One team’s Prototype & Test department. At the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, the team employees will wear black armbands and the race cars will bear his name. Today, half-staff was achieved at Williams’ Williams facility.
Dan was a Senior Prefect in 2019-20. He played an active role in school life as a Math Buddy, and was a passionate member of Vex Robotics. Mrs. Cox, his form tutor in Years 12-13, remembers a person with a great sense of humor and who loved getting involved in group activities during Tutor Time. His teachers praised him for being a hardworking, talented, and excellent student. Dan was an outstanding student and made a significant contribution to school life. He also exemplified the Prince Henry’s values.
Daniel Cracknell Cause of Death
After being in an accident on a motorcycle, Daniel Cracknell, a prototype for Grove-based Williams Formula One, died over the weekend. TRIBUTES were paid to a student who was killed in a motorcycle accident. The circumstances surrounding Mr. Cracknell’s death have not been disclosed. The Williams’ team described the death of the 20-year old as “tragic.”

Williams Grand Prix Engineering Limited is currently racing in Formula One under the name Williams Racing. It is a British Formula One motor race team and constructor. Frank Williams, an ex-team owner, and Patrick Head, an automotive engineer founded it.
Williams finished eighth of the 10 teams in 2021. He also scored points in August, his first in over two years. George Russell, now driving for Mercedes, finished second in a rain-shortened Belgian Grand Prix.

Williams, one the oldest Formula 1 teams has presented their 2022 campaign vehicle. The FW44 is a new car with a new driver. It also has a completely new appearance. After six years of Martini liveries, Williams switched to a striking retro-inspired blue, white, yellow livery in 2021. There were also two years of generic blue and white. This season, they have taken a totally different route.
The design is overall very elegant. We love the Williams “W” on engine cover made of contrasting blues. They debuted the livery on a generic F1 car. Later that day, they took the real car out to Silverstone for a test drive.

Prince Henry’s School pays tribute to former students
Prince Henry’s School released a statement describing Daniel Cracknell as a “great student”. The school posted the memorial on Monday (November 14). According to Dr. Tony Evans, the school’s headteacher, and Clare Webb, the associate headteacher, head of sixth form, Daniel Cracknell was killed in a motorcycle crash. His teachers praised him for being an intelligent, talented, and diligent student.

Williams Racing spokeswoman said that Dan Cracknell, an apprentice of the team, died tragically last weekend after a road traffic accident.
“Dan was one of our Senior Prefects in 2019-20. He played an active and full part in school life including being a Maths Buddy for other students and being a member of Vex Robotics.
“Mrs. Cox, his form tutor in Years 12, and 13, recalls someone with a great sense of humour who loved getting involved in group activities during Tutor Time.
“His teachers commented on how hardworking, brilliant and talented he was.
“In summary, Dan was an outstanding student who made a tremendous contribution to school life. He also exemplified all the Prince Henry’s values.
“Our thoughts, prayers and condolences are with Daniel’s family during this very sad and difficult time.”
