Elizabeth Jasso’s family has not heard from her since Thursday, August 5, and they are “very concerned” for her safety.
According to ABC13, the Baytown Police Department suspected Jasso was dealing with a problem.
Six months before her disappearance, Jasso’s husband was shot and died in Baytown, Texas.
According to Baytown Assistant Police Chief Eric Freed, Milko Jasso, 29, was shot around 4.40 a.m. in February 2021.
Jasso was last spotted at her husband’s burial before meeting with cops.
On Thursday morning, cameras at a neighbor’s house caught Jasso leave the house without her hospital bag in a white BMW.
Later that morning, a worker at the cemetery where her husband is buried stated they saw her.
It was verified on August 12 that Jasso was alive and had been found.
Is Elizabeth Jasso expecting a child?
According to her family, Jasso, who informed her in-laws she was expecting twins, is accused of fabricating her pregnancy with ultrasounds she purchased online.
Victoria Cruz-Ramirez, Jasso’s cousin-in-law, told ABC13 that the scenario is “like a novella,” along with other members of her family. A once-in-a-lifetime film.”
“You know she wasn’t pregnant,” she added, referring to her sister and father. They assumed she was lying about her pregnancy. She wouldn’t be able to have children.”
According to ABC13, the family members came to the conclusion that Jasso, who was previously thought to be 40 weeks pregnant with twins, had purchased phoney ultrasounds on the internet and allegedly falsified her entire pregnancy.
Cruz-Ramirez wishes Jasso well and advises her to “get evaluated in some way.”
Blanca Gonzalez, Jasso’s mother-in-law, told the news outlet that she now feels “betrayed” by Jasso and wants to know why she lied about her pregnancy.
“I am completely at a loss of words with what I have discovered,” she wrote in a since-deleted Facebook post. My daughter-in-law has deceived me, my family, and my friends.
“This is my daughter-in-law, she faked her pregnancy with false ultrasound photographs, and we had no idea because I lost my son a few months earlier and she and everyone else thought we were waiting for my grandkids to arrive.”
“So Liz, if you’re reading this, thank you for raising our hopes; all I ask is that you return home and provide answers.”
What did Elizabeth Jasso’s parents say when she went missing?
Jasso’s father expressed concern for her safety.
“We’re concerned,” he admitted. “I’m very concerned about her safety and the safety of her children.”
Jasso’s best friend, Gigi Dominquez, said the mother wasn’t the type to abandon her children.
“[She’s] always laughing and smiling. It aches to not be able to see that right now… “We’re not planning for the worse and hoping for the best,” Dominguez added. “We’re hoping someone, or someones, will call and say we’re at the hospital and the boys are alright.”
Jasso’s mother is hoping that her daughter will listen to her appeal and return home.
