Bangladeshi Author Marufa Akter

Marufa, who was one of the stars of the ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup in January, shown via a succession of standout performances that she is capable of having a similar impact at the senior level.

She was one of the fastest bowlers on display, a continuous danger to take wickets in the early Powerplay overs, and she gave Bangladesh’s attack a boost up front.

In a standout individual performance against Sri Lanka, she captured all three of Bangladesh’s Powerplay wickets, giving Bangladesh a real chance to defend 126 in their group match. Against Australia, she claimed the prized Beth Mooney scalp.

Marufa, who is only 18 years old, has a tremendously fascinating talent.

Ireland’s Orla Prendergast

The 20-year-old all-rounder from Ireland distinguished herself throughout the team’s South African tour to the point where she was named to the ICC Team of the Tournament.

She was exceptional in the field, scored 109 runs, including an impressive 61 against West Indies, and was Ireland’s primary strike pace bowler, which was vital.

Smriti Mandhana, Deepti Sharma, and Sophia Dunkley made up Prendergast’s three tournament dismissals; they weren’t a bad collection of victims.

Pakistan’s Muneeba Ali

Muneeba Ali, a bespectacled batter for Pakistan, has established herself as a top player at this competition despite having extensive international experience in the T20 format.

It was clear that Muneeba has talent, and it will be interesting to watch what she accomplishes in the future after such a great century against Ireland.

She will be upset that she wasn’t able to improve on her knock of 102, the highest individual score of the World Cup, as she suffered two low scores in her final two tournament outings.

Sri Lankan author Harshitha Samarawickrama

Because of the performances of her younger opening partner at this competition, Chamari Athapaththu will have felt some relief.

Samarawickrama stepped up for her squad during what at the time was a crucial game for Sri Lanka.

The Lankans lost three in the Powerplay when they had to chase down 127 against Bangladesh to make it two victories in a row in Group 1. Marufa shredded the top order. Nonetheless, Samarawickrama managed to survive, lay the groundwork for the successful pursuit, and then he accelerated to help ease the strain of an increasing required run pace.

She played a fantastic innings, finishing unbeaten on a match-defining 69* from 50 balls, and hitting the winning runs to the boundary.

The 24-year-old performed admirably against the eventual champions Australia as well, leading the team in scoring to give them a starting point.

West Indies Karishma Ramharack

Ramharack, a right-arm off-spinner, is a very valuable player for the West Indies.

The 28-year-old is still relatively inexperienced at the international level, but she already appears to be a lock for the West Indies’ first-choice bowling attack, keeping things very tight and posing a threat with her deft spin bowling.

She had a 10 average and took five wickets throughout the competition, but Ramharack was distinguished by how difficult it was to score off of her. Only Sophie Ecclestone had a better economy rate than the other front-line bowlers throughout the competition.
