Inosuke: is a young man of normal height and pale skin, with an unusually toned and muscular body for his age, especially across his stomach and arms.
In stark contrast, he has a stunningly feminine face, with huge, wide eyes framed by an array of long eyelashes, dark to pale green irises, thin eyebrows, and what appears to be a petite, well-mannered lips.
His thick, black hair falls just past his shoulders, fading to blue at the tips and forming an untidy, uneven fringe that falls just above his eyes, puffing up before curving and receding towards his forehead.
Inosuke is dressed in his modified Demon Slayer outfit, which consists of loose hakama pants colored a dark gray-blue and fastened around his hips by a thick belt of fluffy brown animal fur.
Inosuke Is A Young Man’s Image
Inosuke, unlike his travelling buddies, does not dress in a haori. The typical cotton leg-wraps have been replaced by what look to be fuzzy knee-high socks that expose his heels and toes, and which also appear to be the fasteners for the sandal-bases he wears on his feet.
His most distinguishing characteristic is the grey, hollowed-out boar’s head he wears to conceal his own, the eyes of which he has tampered with to give him eyesight while wearing it, and which has been revealed to have belonged to his late adoptive boar mother.
Personality of Inosuke
Inosuke is a short-tempered and arrogant young guy who believes he is the best fighter in any scenario. He continually challenges most people he encounters and demands that others recognise and praise him for his abilities.
This frequently puts him in unnecessary danger because he tends to exaggerate his abilities in comparison to the opponents he faces and refuses to accept defeat, as evidenced by Giyu Tomioka’s having to tie him up after his fight with the Father Spider Demon to prevent him from challenging the Hashira to a fight while still severely injured from his previous battle.
Inosuke’s relentless desire to be the best can lead him to be highly provocative, as he frequently tries to provoke people, most notably Tanjiro Kamado, into fighting him, however he typically fails owing to Tanjiro’s obliviously nice demeanour.
Inosuke has been revealed to have limited comprehension of regular human interaction as a result of being raised by boars, at least at the time of his debut, since he usually assumes that people who approach him want to harm him and doesn’t seem to grasp the kindness others offer him.
He can’t read or write, and he has trouble pronouncing people’s names correctly, mispronouncing Monchiro for Tanjiro or Monitsu for Zenitsu. He has a habit of being unintentionally nasty and treating everyone as an enemy at first.
However, as the storey progresses, Inosuke is increasingly influenced by Tanjiro’s ways and grows accustomed to affection and generosity, learning to recognise the strength of others and developing feelings of friendship for him and Zenitsu Agatsuma, despite his proud nature and constant desire for praise.
He also begins to think more tactically about fighting, employing smarter strategies learned from more experienced Demon Slayers rather than just charging into confrontations head-on.
Inosuke’s sense of camaraderie improves dramatically, as seen by his rush at Muzan Kibutsuji while mourning the Demon King’s murders and maimings of Demon Slayers and demanding that he return what he took from them, or face death as vengeance for his crimes.
Abilities of Inosuke
Overall Abilities: Inosuke is a skilled and talented swordsman who was able to learn Total Concentration Breathing on his own and develop his own Breathing Style known as Beast Breathing based on his own instincts and upbringing in the mountains by wild boars, all without formal training, and passed Final Selection to become a Demon Slayer.
Yosuke has proven that he is capable of hunting and defeating demons on his own as he quickly dispatched the Horned Demon. He has demonstrated his ability to hold his own and contribute in bouts against Upper-Rank demons of the Twelve Kizuki, including Upper-Rank Six, Gyutaro, and Daki, as well as the much stronger Upper-Rank Two, Doma, on several occasions.
He’s also tremendously gifted, with superhuman flexibility and senses, as well as a natural knack for combat. Most impressively, Inosuke and his friends were able to repel the Demon King, Muzan, with the same combat prowess as the Hashira, the best swordsman among all the Demon Slayers.
Inosuke adopted the mannerisms of mountain boars and began mixing them into his combat tactics as a result of his upbringing with them. As a result, his swordsmanship and hand-to-hand combat styles are reminiscent of animals and creatures.
Tanjiro Kamado’s strange fighting style, which resembles that of a “four-legged beast” since his attacks originate from an incredibly low angle, while also being very ferocious and utilizing other unorthodox moves, makes him exceedingly unpredictable and nasty, according to Tanjiro Kamado.
Yosuke has enhanced flexibility to the extent that he can bend backward to the point where his head reaches between his feet.
He later demonstrates the ability to dislocate his arm to extend his reach, as well as the capacity to dislocate any of his bodily joints at command.
His internal organs are also flexible since he was able to relocate his heart and avoid being pierced during the struggle against Daki and Gyutaro.
Yosuke boasts superhuman physical power, as evidenced by his exceptionally toned muscles and physique. He can dual wield two katanas instead of one and even swing them at super speeds. He was able to cut apart Enmu’s body pieces that had engulfed one of the train cabins.
He even moved a boulder nearly twice his size with his bare hands during the Hashira Training Arc. He could injure Doma’s neck and throw his swords with such vigor that the force on impact was enough to drive Kanao’s blade through Doma’s neck.
Yosuke had a strong and extraordinarily sensitive sense of touch as a result of his upbringing in the highlands. The slight vibrations in the air can even be felt by his skin.
This talent was combined into Inosuke’s Spatial Awareness technique, in which he used his keen sense of touch to discover all of the demons scattered across a massive mountain and later used it to locate the Spider Demon (Father).
He can know whether anyone is gazing at him, especially if they have malevolent intentions, by employing this talent. He can even pinpoint exactly where they are looking, giving him an advantage in combat.
His sensitive skin offered him an advantage over Doma, as his sense of touch naturally kept him from inhaling his lethal ice powder.
Extrasensory Perception: Inosuke’s senses have been sharpened to the point where he has extrasensory perception, which allows him to perceive things that are outside the normal range of perception.
Yosuke can tell how serious his opponent is, as evidenced by the fact that Daki’s sash strikes were relaxing a little, allowing him to attack and the strength of Akaza and Kyojuro Rengoku.
He could also detect a person’s malice and purpose to kill even if they were out of his sight, which saved him from being killed by Gyutaro’s scythe assault. Yosuke was also able to detect the presence of living beings inside Daki’s obi, preventing him from inadvertently killing them while fighting.
Yosuke has incredible speed and reflexes, as evidenced by the fact that he sprinted through the Tsuzumi Mansion at breakneck speed and managed to dodge the Horned Demon’s assaults in the nick of time, demonstrating his honed reflexes and movement speed. After a few months.
His speed and reflexes had improved much more, to the point where he could fend off Daki’s sentient Obi sash while protecting the humans trapped inside, and he could later go toe-to-toe with the Upper Rank herself. Yosuke was able to run up to Daki and decapitate her before she could respond, thanks to the support of Zenitsu and Tanjiro.
Inosuke can keep up with Upper Rank Two, Doma, with variable degrees of success, landing several hits on him and stealing Kanao’s katana without Doma knowing despite the weapon being near to him. Inosuke could equal Muzan and later demon Tanjiro in speed even when he was enervated and damaged.
Insouke has tremendous stamina and endurance as a result of his arduous training as a Demon Slayer, which he has demonstrated on several occasions. Despite suffering several injuries, Inosuke and Zenitsu were able to keep up with an awoken Daki and lasted long enough to cut off her head.
Despite being stabbed in the chest and infected with deadly poison, Inosuke nevertheless played a critical role in the Upper Rank’s downfall. Later, Inosuke held off the second-best Upper Rank for an incredibly long time.
