Inosuke: is a young man of normal height and pale skin, with an unusually toned and muscular body for his age, especially across his stomach and arms.
In stark contrast, he has a stunningly feminine face, with huge, wide eyes framed by an array of long eyelashes, dark to pale green irises, thin eyebrows, and what appears to be a petite, well-mannered lips.
His thick, black hair falls just past his shoulders, fading to blue at the tips and forming an untidy, uneven fringe that falls just above his eyes, puffing up before curving and receding towards his forehead.
Inosuke is dressed in his modified Demon Slayer outfit, which consists of loose hakama pants colored a dark gray-blue and fastened around his hips by a thick belt of fluffy brown animal fur.
Inosuke Is A Young Man’s Image
Inosuke, unlike his travelling buddies, does not dress in a haori. The typical cotton leg-wraps have been replaced by what look to be fuzzy knee-high socks that expose his heels and toes, and which also appear to be the fasteners for the sandal-bases he wears on his feet.
His most distinguishing characteristic is the grey, hollowed-out boar’s head he wears to conceal his own, the eyes of which he has tampered with to give him eyesight while wearing it, and which has been revealed to have belonged to his late adoptive boar mother.
Personality of Inosuke
Inosuke is a short-tempered and arrogant young guy who believes he is the best fighter in any scenario. He continually challenges most people he encounters and demands that others recognise and praise him for his abilities.
This frequently puts him in unnecessary danger because he tends to exaggerate his abilities in comparison to the opponents he faces and refuses to accept defeat, as evidenced by Giyu Tomioka’s having to tie him up after his fight with the Father Spider Demon to prevent him from challenging the Hashira to a fight while still severely injured from his previous battle.
Inosuke’s relentless desire to be the best can lead him to be highly provocative, as he frequently tries to provoke people, most notably Tanjiro Kamado, into fighting him, however he typically fails owing to Tanjiro’s obliviously nice demeanour.
Inosuke has been revealed to have limited comprehension of regular human interaction as a result of being raised by boars, at least at the time of his debut, since he usually assumes that people who approach him want to harm him and doesn’t seem to grasp the kindness others offer him.
He can’t read or write, and he has trouble pronouncing people’s names correctly, mispronouncing Monchiro for Tanjiro or Monitsu for Zenitsu. He has a habit of being unintentionally nasty and treating everyone as an enemy at first.
However, as the storey progresses, Inosuke is increasingly influenced by Tanjiro’s ways and grows accustomed to affection and generosity, learning to recognise the strength of others and developing feelings of friendship for him and Zenitsu Agatsuma, despite his proud nature and constant desire for praise.
He also begins to think more tactically about fighting, employing smarter strategies learned from more experienced Demon Slayers rather than just charging into confrontations head-on.
Inosuke’s sense of camaraderie improves dramatically, as seen by his rush at Muzan Kibutsuji while mourning the Demon King’s murders and maimings of Demon Slayers and demanding that he return what he took from them, or face death as vengeance for his crimes.
Abilities of Inosuke
Overall Abilities: Inosuke is a skilled and talented swordsman who was able to learn Total Concentration Breathing on his own and develop his own Breathing Style known as Beast Breathing based on his own instincts and upbringing in the mountains by wild boars, all without formal training, and passed Final Selection to become a Demon Slayer.
Yosuke has proven that he is capable of hunting and defeating demons on his own as he quickly dispatched the Horned Demon. He has demonstrated his ability to hold his own and contribute in bouts against Upper-Rank demons of the Twelve Kizuki, including Upper-Rank Six, Gyutaro, and Daki, as well as the much stronger Upper-Rank Two, Doma, on several occasions.
He’s also tremendously gifted, with superhuman flexibility and senses, as well as a natural knack for combat. Most impressively, Inosuke and his friends were able to repel the Demon King, Muzan, with the same combat prowess as the Hashira, the best swordsman among all the Demon Slayers.
Inosuke adopted the mannerisms of mountain boars and began mixing them into his combat tactics as a result of his upbringing with them. As a result, his swordsmanship and hand-to-hand combat styles are reminiscent of animals and creatures.
