The FBI detained CNN producer John Griffin of Stamford, Connecticut, a week ago. He’s suspected of utilising Google Hangouts and Kik to talk to underage girls’ parents. He allegedly used the platforms to persuade parents of underage girls to allow him to groom their minor daughters to be sexually submissive.

As per the indictment, Griffin has admitted to having groomed and sexually trained girls as young as 7 year old.

Griffin, a former Stamford and Norwalk resident, allegedly paid for a Nevada lady to visit Vermont with her 9-year-old adoptive daughter.

Due to Griffin’s “heinous crime,” the child and her guardian are seeking for punitive damages.

Griffin must pay his attorney by July 1 so the girl can win. The girl’s lawyer, Joel Foxon, claims Griffin has barely paid a quarter as of Friday.

According to court papers, Foxon wants Griffin put in contempt of court because of the unpaid balance. Griffin’s attorney was due a payment, but the court has sealed it.

Court-protected “Jane Doe” lives in Connecticut with her guardian.

According to the papers, Foxon wants Griffin punished until he sets aside the remaining monies and covers the girl’s legal fees.

Griffin has already given the government $1 million, his share of the sale of the Vermont home where the crimes allegedly happened, according to court documents.

Adoptive mother caught in Nevada is serving time for kidnapping. The woman pleaded guilty to two counts of attempted lewdness with a child in April. Court documents show that the lady must also register as a sex offender and be subject to lifetime supervision.

Griffin was arrested 18 months before being indicted.

They suspect Griffin coerced the woman to have sexual relations while she was living at his Vermont ski resort with her adopted child and legal guardian. The alleged crimes took place in July 2020, when the youngster was 9 years old, according to court filings.

Griffin allegedly used alt.com to find “submissive” and “open-minded” women.

Court filings say he impersonated young girls’ parents on Kik and Google Hangouts. Indictment: John sought to “teach their girls sexual submissiveness”

Griffin was a producer for the Chris Cuomo show and CNN’s John Avlon before his imprisonment.
