Melissa Lingafelt: Who records music under the name Jimi Ono and is Drake Bell’s ex-girlfriend, has accused the former teen sensation of verbal and physical assault. “This is my truth,” she wrote in a candid video on TikTok.

I didn’t know until later that abuse wasn’t something that all women had to deal with. I was 16 when I started dating Drake, homeschooled, living with him, and singing.

Drake was nothing like you’d expect him to be during his entire set. All I remember after the performance is meeting Drake and being assaulted by him. This guy, who I had idolised as a youngster, was in fucking 8th grade when I met him. He used to be a rapist. He was a sicko to the core.
Lingafelt reveals a DM chat she had with another of Bell’s ex-girlfriends, Paydin Layne LoPachin, who dated Bell for five years, in another TikTok. “I will stand by your side and back you up as I went through the same awful verbal, physical, and mental abuse,” LoPachin says in the DM exchange to Lingafelt.
I was tricked and indoctrinated,” she adds, and when Lingafelt responds, “He had sex with hundreds of minor females, LoPachin responds, “YES!!” “There were so many days where I thought… Melissa Lingafelt went through this and she came out!!” writes LoPachin. “He called me a cunt, and he LOVED to call me a whore,” she added.
Another of Bell’s ex-girlfriends, Gillian Leos wrote to support Lingafelt and offer her own storey, stating, “I know this to be true from personal experience.” We went to high school together and dated from 16 to roughly 21 from 2001 to 2005/06… Thank you for taking the time to speak out.
