Disney is introducing a new line of Squishmallow toys from The Nightmare Before Christmas just in time for Halloween, and here’s where you can get them.

The Nightmare Before Christmas is a 1993 stop-motion animated film that wonders, “What if Halloween became Christmas?” It is based on characters created by Tim Burton, the gothic master.

After inadvertently landing in Christmas Town and kidnapping Santa Claus, Jack Skellington, the Pumpkin King of Halloween Town, becomes obsessed with turning his town’s ghouls and monsters into North Pole fanatics.

Tim Burton must have had a brilliant, if accidental, notion for mass holiday shopping, because he inspired a film that would take over the cultural conscience every year from October 1 to December 25.

With The Nightmare Before Christmas, Disney won the lotto, having the full fall to release holiday-themed items on two big holidays. The Nightmare Before Christmas has generated books, collectible card games, themed board games, comics, video games, and even live performance concerts in addition to the film.

There will never be a shortage of The Nightmare Before Christmas souvenirs with all of the new imaginative toys and related collecting items that are introduced year after year.

This year, Disney is releasing a new line of Squishmallow toys based on the Nightmare Before Christmas. Squishmallows are the latest rage in soft pillows, and they’re swiftly selling out all around the world.

This is particularly true with their pillow collections based on well-known characters, franchises, animals, and sports teams. Squishmallows from The Nightmare Before Christmas are available online through Amazon, Walmart, Learning Express, Target, Mercari, and Steve’s Hallmark for a variety of costs based on size and retailer.

Sadly, they don’t appear to be available on Squishmallow’s official website. The larger sizes normally cost between $50 and $70, whilst the smaller versions are significantly more affordable, costing between $15 and $30.

Jack Skellington, his ghostly dog Zero, Sally, Oogie Boogie, Mayor, and the three terrifying youngsters who kidnap Santa, Lock, Shock, and Barrel, are among the Nightmare Before Christmas characters included in the Squishmallow range. Walmart is even running a promotion where you can get a bunch of Nightmare Before Christmas Squishmallows for a discounted price. The Nightmare Before Christmas line will join Disney’s existing Squishmallow IP, which includes Dumbo, Stitch, Monsters Inc.’s Sully and Mike, the Mickey Mouse dynasty, Toy Story personalities, and Star Wars’ Baby Yoda.

The Squishmallow toys will be released in 2021, along with a slew of other new toys and collectibles based on Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas. There’s also an exclusive Nightmare Before Christmas collectible action figure box set that’s almost sold out, as well as a new line of Walgreens character-based animated plush toys and Halloween decor. The Nightmare Before Christmas Squishmallows will make a nice snug match to watching the movie if you’re looking to get into the spooky season spirit.
