The colour of the yearly Gatorade bath has become a popular prop bet, with many fans hoping the Bucs would douse head coach Bruce Arians.

However, viewers were left in a state of dread when CBS pulled away from the scene, leaving them unsure of the hue of the Gatorade bath for Arians.

Fans were upset not to know which colour of Gatorade was spilled on the Jersey-born coach when the coverage returned to show him soaked from the celebration.

However, minutes after the game, a video from the stadium went viral. The Gatorade that was used to shower Arians appeared to be blue in colour.

The Buccaneers then released a photo of Arians poised to receive the Gatorade shower, confirming that the drink was truly blue.

Buccaneers win Super Bowl 2021, defeating Chiefs to become NFL champions.

In Super Bowl 55, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 31-9, and the hosts had a number of MVP-worthy performances. Tom Brady, the veteran quarterback, completed 21 of 29 passes for 201 yards and was named MVP of the Super Bowl.

Brady’s first two touchdown passes went to Rob Gronkowski, and a touchdown to Antonio Brown before halftime virtually put the game out of reach for the Chiefs.

The Buccaneers led 21-6 at halftime and didn’t need much after that to win their second Super Bowl triumph.

Patrick Mahomes, the Chiefs’ talisman, spent much of the game fleeing Buccaneers opponents. On a dismal night for the former champions, he went 26 of 49 for 270 yards and no touchdowns while also throwing two interceptions.
