Levine will be competing in the Ironman World Championship for the first time since he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2015. A few months ago, he was told he had six to nine months to live.

But with the support of his wife and McCartney, he is determined to finish the race. He has received several chemotherapy treatments and has also been given a new treatment that is working to fight his disease.

Alesha Dixon is a British television personality who made her first television appearance on the UK version of The X Factor in 2006. Among the many UCSD alumni, she is perhaps most notable for her leadership in the field of stem cell biology, which she elucidates as her main priority.

A slew of grad students also contribute to the university’s growing research profile. Its biotechnology labs are churning out some of the most promising drug candidates in the business, if not the world.

Men’s soccer senior forward Nick Cirrito

Nick Cirrito is a senior forward for UC San Diego. He is a member of the The Big West Commissioner’s Honor Roll for the 2022 season. His five goals and nine shots for the season have earned him a place on the conference’s All-Big West Honorable Mention list.

In his first three matches this season, Cirrito has scored a goal and assisted on two. This includes a goal against Pacific and an assist against Azusa Pacific. Now he is tied for fifth in the Big West in goals and fifth in shots on goal.

As a result, he is eligible for the National Academic All-America ballot. For the academic year, he has a cumulative 3.55 GPA. Currently, he is a member of the UCSD Academic All-District First Team.
