Who Will Run for President in 2024

Today Here We Know more About US Election Who Will Run for President in 2024? Who Is Confirmed And Who Is Expected All About revealed Officially. With less than one years until the 2024 presidential election in US, speculation is rampant about which public figures may enter this highly charged political contest that promises to be one of America’s most contentious contests ever.

Who Will Run for President in 2024? Official List Reaveled

1. Joe Biden

Age: 80
Party: Democratic
Candidacy: Expected
Less than two months after his 2021 inauguration, President Joe Biden declared his intention to run for reelection in 2024 with Vice President Kamala Harris joining him on the ticket. Senator Joe Biden (Republican from 1973 until 2009), is a career Democrat known for speaking his mind on issues he supports (in 2012 he made history by publicly endorsing same-sex marriage before Obama administration had even had the chance to sign off).

After defeating a formidable field of Democratic candidates in the 2020 presidential primaries, Sanders faced off against incumbent President Donald Trump and won both the popular vote and electoral college.

President Biden is widely seen as the frontrunner for the 2024 election, though his lackluster approval ratings over economic issues and his age have left some in his own party unsure if he can repeat as victor. Since the 2022 midterms, in which Democratic candidates massively over-performed and retained control of both chambers of congress and gained new governor seats, Biden’s standing had improved somewhat; however, when classified documents from Obama’s time were discovered in his belongings in January 2023, voters lost some faith in him.

Many Democratic presidential hopefuls, such as Vice President Harris, Sen. Bernie Sanders and Sen. Elizabeth Warren have used Biden’s plans to run again as a reason for staying out of the 2024 election; however, reports indicate his team could launch their reelection campaign any time after his State of the Union address on February 28, 2023 – suggesting he’s moving full speed ahead for 2024.

2. Donald Trump

Age: 76
Party: Republican
Candidacy Status: Confirmed
Twice impeached and full of controversy, former President Donald Trump is not the ideal candidate to lead the Republican Party in 2024. But he’s shown before that he can command an audience – perhaps too well after supporters stormed the U.S. Capitol on his behalf in an effort to keep him in power after losing reelection to Joe Biden – and that has made him a serious contender.

Trump left the White House on a bitter note, with members of his own party turning against him for his involvement in the Jan. 6, 2021 insurrection. Since leaving office, several former staffers have come forward with shocking allegations about his conduct and he remains under multiple criminal investigations.

Trump has remained engaged in politics, campaigning for far-right candidates throughout the midterm election cycle. Although many of his endorsees fared poorly at polls, leading Republicans to lose key races and reinforcing election denialism’s unpopularity, this did not deter Trump: On Nov. 15, 2022 he officially declared his candidacy for president of the United States of 2024.

3. Nikki Haley

Age: 51
Party: Republican
Candidacy: Confirmed
Nikki Haley, former South Carolina governor and U.S. ambassador to the United Nations under President Trump, told reporters in Iowa on June 30 that she is open to running for president in 2024 “if there’s room.” As reported by Des Moines Register, Haley added, “I’ve never lost a race before – so why start now? Give it your all and see where it takes you – that’s my pledge!”

On Feb. 14, Haley officially made her announcement via video and donation link on social media channels.

In a July 2022 poll conducted by The New York Times/Siena College, Haley was tied with Mike Pence for fourth place on an hypothetical question about which Republican presidential candidate Republicans would support in 2024. Since then, however, she has faded out of the conversation as Pence and DeSantis take center stage – though her early candidacy could help change that dynamic.

Haley has been an enthusiastic supporter of Trump since he earned the Republican Party nomination in 2016, calling him a “friend” and tweeting that she was “really proud” of his successes. Following the deadly Capitol riots, however, Haley delivered mixed messages on her support of Trump – bashing critics while labeling his actions a letdown. Later in 2021 she stated that should Trump run for president again, she will back him without contesting — though this sentiment appears to have since moved past that stage.

4. Vivek Ramaswamy

Age: 37
Party: Republican
Candidacy: Confirmed
Vivek Ramaswamy, a leader of the corporate anti-woke movement, has declared his presidential candidacy for 2023 in late February 2023. Running on a platform of unity that deceives many, Ramaswamy hopes to take on Trump in the Republican primary. He plans on running on an anti-woke platform.

Ramaswamy, an Ohio native whose parents immigrated from India, has spoken out against companies using their platforms for social causes and has agreed with many far-right Republicans today that America’s values have declined. He cites critical race theory, affirmative action, environmentalism and self-victimization as things which he believes have destroyed the nation’s once shared identity.

“We’ve celebrated our “diversity” so much that we’ve forgotten who we truly are as Americans,” he wrote in a tweet when announcing his campaign. “I believe those ideals still exist today – and I’m running for President to bring them back to life.”

Ramaswamy, in addition to founding tech and health care companies, is the best-selling author of Woke, Inc.: Inside Corporate America’s Social Justice Scam which earned him the title “CEO of Anti-Woke Inc.”

5. Marianne Williamson

Age: 70
Party: Democratic
Candidacy Status: Confirmed
Marianne Williamson made headlines in March 2023 when she announced that she would once again run for America’s highest office.

The self-help author, who has penned 14 books, previously ran for president of the United States in 2020. While she didn’t gain support among primary voters, her campaign trail quotes made headlines – such as how her first act as president would be to tell then New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern “Girlfriend, you are so on” and that love would be her ultimate weapon against Trump.

Williamson’s 2020 policy proposal calls for $200 to $500 billion to be distributed by Black American leaders for community development and education.

Tributes have been paid to him as they continue their investigation. BBC 1Xtra presenter Jeremiah Asiamah, who interviewed Costa Titch just weeks prior, expressed her sorrow over the passing. “Not just for fans of amapiano music,” he tells BBC Newsbeat, but for all who appreciate great music.” “His presence is contagious – just like his music!”
