On Dec. 12, 2022, four days after announcing her divorce, Collette shared a poem by Kate Baer entitled Halfway There on her Instagram Story. He is an accomplished musician. Galafassi has played in numerous bands throughout his career. When he and Collette first met, he was the drummer for Australian rock band Gelbison, according to Sydney Morning Herald. With Collette as lead singer and Galafassi on drums, they formed Toni Collette & The Finish; Collette as lead singer with Galafassi providing accompaniment. Together with other bandmates they toured Australia extensively before releasing the album Beautiful Awkward Pictures before disbanding as a unit.

He and Collette began dating in the early 2000s.

The former couple first connected at one of Galafassi’s gigs. As The Sydney Morning Herald reported in 2018, she and a friend watched Gelbison perform and briefly chatted with Galafassi afterwards. A few days later, the two reunited at another party.

“He was the first person I saw when I walked in the door,” Collette revealed to the outlet. “He kissed me on the cheek and it just kind of melted me. I planned to stay for 10 minutes… and ended up staying 12 hours.” Collette concluded, “It was an incredibly special day.”

A few years after getting married, Collette revealed she and Galafassi were expecting their first child together. “We’re absolutely delighted,” the Little Miss Sunshine actress shared with The Associated Press. “It’s strange how the last three films I’ve done while pregnant,” Colette commented. “What is the universe trying to tell me? But I believe everything happens for a reason.”

On Jan. 9, 2008, Collette and her partner welcomed their daughter Sage Florence to the world in Sydney, Australia. At that time, Collette’s representative reported: “All are well and very contented!”

On April 22, 2011, Collette and Galafassi welcomed their third child together – a son.

“His birth on Good Friday made it the greatest Friday ever!” the couple exclaimed in a joint statement.

On December 2022, The Daily Mail published photos of drummer Michael Galafassi kissing a woman at Manly Beach in Sydney. It was later revealed to be chiropractor Shannon Egan as they held hands and hugged while swimming in the ocean.

Hours later, Collette and Galafassi posted a statement on Instagram declaring their divorce after “a significant period of separation.”

“With grace and gratitude, we announce our divorce. While we remain united in our decision, we part with respect and care for each other. Our children remain our top priority, so while the structure of our family may change, we plan to thrive together as a unit.” “Thank you for providing us with space and love as we grow and move through this transition peacefully,” read the statement.

Just two months away from their 20th wedding anniversary, the couple announced their split.

He expressed his encouragement for Collette’s career.

Collette rarely spoke about her relationship with Galafassi, but she did share his response to her 2018 Netflix series Wanderlust, in which she plays a woman struggling with her marriage and questioning monogamy, during an interview with The Sydney Morning Herald. When asked if Galafaxi had seen Wanderlust, Collette replied “All of it.” Adding that she’s aware of life’s ups and downs, Collette added, “One thing he said was ‘This is the best thing you’ve ever done’ which made me cry.”

Now A.P Moller-Maersk has released the Captain Peter Integrated package, providing data integration with Application Programming Interface (API) for customers to get raw temperature readings into any system of their choosing – be it their own transportation management system or a 3rd party platform. Furthermore, contractual customers can now grant access for shippers and consignees to log in directly into Captain Peter and view shipment details.

For over three years, Captain Peter has been aiding Maersk customers in managing their perishable goods by providing temperature and humidity information on in-transit refrigerated containers.
