Bokura no Souretsu’s story is unsettlingly dark, as its name hints. Translating loosely to “Our Funeral Procession,” Bokura no Souretsu was created by Asagiri Yuuki and tells of a soldier squadron trained to euthanize those affected by an infectious pandemic which turns them into serpent-like monsters with unrivaled power.

Currenty there is no legal way of accessing Bokura no Souretsu in the US; however, Kodansha regularly publishes it there. Perhaps later this summer Kodansha will launch their online manga service targeted towards U.S. users that includes Fairy Tail alongside Mashima’s other works; so let us keep our fingers crossed for Asagiri Asagiri Asagiri will join.

Mashima’s work continues to impress fans, as she remains immersed in Edens Zero as usual and the sequel Fairy Tail still passes their approval. An anime adaptation for Fairy Tail: 100-Years Question has been underway for some time and just recently Edens Zero made its season 2 debut in Japan; unfortunately due to licensing constraints it won’t make its global debut anytime soon but fans remain hopeful they may see season 2 soon! If you haven’t seen it already you can check out season 1 on Netflix!
