Worldle Answer: Worldle is a popular online game in which you must guess words based on certain clues. It provides the number of letters in each word, prompting players to type their guesses. Each round gives six chances for successful guessing of words correctly guessed; once this process has concluded, Worldle shows which letters have the correct positions or not.
Wordle is one of the many categories within Wordle, and one of them is countries. Here we’ll demonstrate how to correctly guess a country in six guesses or less using logic and knowledge – but don’t scroll down yet if you want to try! At the end of the article will also reveal its answer so don’t read all of it until later if that’s your choice!
The Clues
To help us guess our target country, the game provides us with these clues:
- It contains six letters. The initial letter is S.
- The fourth letter is A.
The Strategy
To accurately guess a country within six guesses or less, we need to narrow down our options by using certain criteria. Here are some criteria we could use:
- Your country of choice should be well-known and not unknown.
- Each country should use an entirely separate alphabet.
- When selecting the location for letters, consider both its geography and culture.
By applying these criteria, we can narrow down some of the countries with six letters that do not match up with clues, for instance:
- Sweden stands out because it does not contain an A.
- Serbia shares letters with other countries, such as **B** and **I** for Brazil and India respectively.
- Sudan was selected because it is not well known and did not fit the context of these letters.
The Guesses
Now that we’ve narrowed down our options, it is time to guess the country. Below is our guesses and their feedback from the game:
- **S**pain: At first glance, this seems like a solid choice as its six letters start with **S** and include an **A** as the fourth letter. Unfortunately, however, the game indicates that only one letter (**S**) is in its proper location, leaving us to try alternative choices.
- **S**waz**i** is another promising guess as it features six letters beginning with **S** and featuring an **A** as the fourth letter. Furthermore, its spelling matches up perfectly with context of letters used; however, due to game limitations only two letters (**S** and **A**) were correct and within their positions in this instance; meaning all other letters may have been wrong and we need to look elsewhere for solutions.
- **S**en**e**g**a**l: This is our third guess and it is getting closer. It consists of six letters starting with **S** and has an **A** as its fourth letter, matching up perfectly with context of letters in context of game play. Three of its letters (**S**, **E**, and **A**) have already been found correct by game, meaning only three more must be changed to reach an accurate answer.
- **S**er**b**i**a**: Our fourth guess and we are getting close. It consists of six letters beginning with **S** and having an **A** as its fourth letter, featuring unique spelling that fits its context of letters. According to the game, four of these are in their right positions – S**, E**, A** and I** are correct and in place, thus meaning we only need to change two additional letters (I and T) before getting the correct answer.
- **S**y**r**i**a**: This was our fifth guess and it proved successful! With six letters starting with **S** and featuring an **A** as its fourth letter – and with its unique spelling to match contextual letters – all six letters being correct and in their appropriate locations; our game confirmed our guess correctly! Congratulations on guessing your nation correctly!
