Mushoku Tensei will return to screens much to the delight of fans this July with its return, following a four year hiatus that saw Part 2 of Season One released on December 20, 2021 and an OVA released March 16, 2022.
A new season has now been confirmed for release starting July 1.
Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation was written and illustrated by Rifujin na Magonote and published as an original light novel series in November 2012. Later adapted into manga form by illustrator Yuka Fujikawa, Mushoku Tensei saw further publication.

Mushoku Tensei Season 2 will return to screens on July 23, 2023 according to an official promotional video featured at AnimeJapan 2023. Despite lack of official confirmation, we believe the second season of 24 episodes from Mushoku Tensei can currently be found streaming on Netflix – thus any fans looking for another recap experience can visit Netflix and binge the whole first season all at once!

Season 2 of Mushoku Tensei anime series has seen several staff changes, with Hiroki Hirano taking over as director from Manabu Okamoto as announced at AnimeJapan 2023. Screenplay author Toshiya Ono will now also handle script-writing duties while character designer Sanae Shimada joins her staff members as new character designers.
Masakazu Miyake will serve as art director, Makiko Doi as color key artist, Akinori Mishima as editor, sound director Jin Aketagawa will take over sound effects artist Tsutomu Ueno and musical composer Yoshiaki Fujisawa will all return for season six of our program.
