Rae’s followers and social media sleuths have dubbed the video a “deepfake.”
What exactly is the Addison Rae Twitter video?
A video purporting to depict Rae having sex was uploaded on Twitter in October 2020.
The video was a fake, but it appeared authentic because a high-end editing programme was used to replace Rae’s face with that of another person, a technique known as a “deepfake.”
Several deep-fake videos showing Rae’s face on a woman having sex have been released by the same Twitter user.
Is it true that Addison Rae leaked appeared in the video?
Rae’s face appears in the video but not her body.
The Twitter user who posted the video is infamous for superimposing celebrities’ faces on naked bodies in X-rated material.
These have been labelled as “fakes” by admirers.
It comes as photos of Rae with her new beau, Omer Fedi, have surfaced.
Fedi promoted her film, He’s All That, in September, and the two seemed to confirm their relationship.
After Addison’s on-again, off-again relationship with Bryce Hall ended in the summer, rumours of the two dating began to swirl.
With a post on his own Instagram account in early September, Omer confirmed the dating rumours.
His single with Justin Bieber and Kid Laroi was at the top of the charts at the time, and Addison Rae had just made her acting debut in He’s All That.
He compared the two on social media, writing, “Me and my baby are both number one atm I’m so, so, so proud of her.
”
“I’m curious if we’re the first pair to attempt anything like this with a movie and a song?” Anyway, sweetie, I adore you.”
With a series of Instagram stories on October 6, he also wished Addison a happy 21st birthday.
“Happy birthday to my fav person to eat pizza with,” he captioned the first photo, referring to the TikToker as his favourite person to eat gelato and travel with.
On Friday, November 19, 2021, Addison shared a short footage of the two lovebirds on her Instagram feed.
The footage shows the couple hugging and kissing each other in front of a mirror.
Fedi is one of the hottest up-and-coming producers right now, having worked with Miley Cyrus, Lil Nas X, and Machine Gun Kelly, among others.
