Madras IIT A four-year BS degree in data science and applications has been introduced by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras as part of their BSc in programming and data science programme.
This course is open to those who have not taken the JEE.
Who is eligible to apply for the four-year BS in programming and data science programme?
Students who are currently enrolled in 12th grade may apply and be accepted into this programme. Those that are accepted will begin the programme after finishing their 12th grade.
There is no age restriction and students from any stream may enrol. Additionally, this groundbreaking approach enables students to enrol in IIT Madras without taking the fiercely competitive Joint Entrance Examination (JEE).
